Delaware Valley Chapter

OUR CHAPTER

The Delaware Valley Chapter #312 of the United States Amateur Ballroom Dancers Association (USABDA) serves the Philadelphia, South Jersey, Northern Delaware area.

We are the local chapter of a national, non-profit organization dedicated to promoting the physical, mental and social benefits of Ballroom Dancing.

As individuals, we are just people who love to dance. As an organization, we are dedicated to making sure the social enjoyment and benefits of ballroom dancing are available to everyone.

OUR MISSION

It is our mission to bring greater awareness of Ballroom Dancing to the general public and to provide information, resources, and fellowship to all dancers in the Delaware Valley.

We sponsor and support ballroom dance events weekly at Dance Haddonfield and at other locations throughout the year. Through contributions and sponsorship, we work cooperatively with professionals and local businesses to network for charitable and community causes and for support of youth and college dance programs as well as competitive dances events in our area.

For a more personal perspective, chapter president Joe Murphy answers Frequently Asked Questions about starting out with ballroom dancing.
